Birthday Training
The Juniors had their Orange belt grading. I helped Sensei Mariedke with the adult hold escapes.
For the rest of the class, I worked with Grant on Ground Defense: body shifting while on the ground, trying to touch the person's head, ankle-thigh variation using both feet as uke is walking in, and the three defenses against a kick to the head: block and roll up the leg taking uke down backwards, and the two versions of hooking tori's leg behind uke's knee (inside and outside leg), following with a figure 4 ankle lock or leg lock with tori's leg wedged in behind the knee.
After, we reviewed all yellow belt hold escapes, finishing with a neck twisting take-down.
