Tonight I worked on outter reap takedowns. This allowed us to review all of the yellow belt hold escapes, but to use the outter reap. I also covered a few afterthrows: rowing the boat, arm bar turn-over, as well as twist shoulder lock, knees on ribs and BPO, and cross armlock.

we then spent about 20 minutes played with the two ground techniques that I learned on Friday and finished off the class with overhead club defense.

Did some one-on-one reviewing with Colby on breakfalls 1,2,3, and 5.
Reviewed Defensive stance and moving in defensive stance. Jab, cross, hook, and upper cut.

Had 1 pair of students on the focus mitts and the 3rd student on a heavy bag. with jab/cross/hook/upper cut. reviewed open hand computer stuns with the heavy bag.

Reviewed wrist grabs: inline, cross, both wrists low, 2 hands on one wrist.

2 hands on throat from front, close, arms bent.

After, Sensei Mariedke took the two white belts and I worked with Kyle on club defense. Both Kyle and Sensei Mariedke have experience in Arnis so I learned some new disarms and takedowns for club defense in addition to the usual can-ryu club defense. We also reviewed the inner winding throw and variations of how to grab uke's arm/shoulder.
